Can't add anything really the other fellas haven't. Just give it a try.I think you should find it acceptable, but remember shooting form. Stay relaxed, tuck the butt to the shoulder, focus on the target area and just let it happen..no forcing it. If you tell yourself to be concerned with recoil it will increase the felt recoil. Ever wonder why you don't feel the push in the field? Simply answer it doesn't enter the equation. The mind is a powerful weapon!

If you do find it more than you like, an aftermarket recoil pad such as the sims limbsaver or pachymer decelarator would help.

As far as the load 100 gr pellets with 240-300 gr bullet will be more than effective to harvest deer. The max range is dependant on the shooter more so than the load itself.
