Hodgdon's website has a FAQ with an equation. Not knowing the bullet weight, MV, and weight of your rifle, I can't help you calculate it. Also at the FAQ they calculate a 12 guage clays load to be 21.5 ft lbs. When I post recoils here, I always divide by that number and give the recoil as a percentage of a 12 guage clays load.
