Cedar makes excellent camoing material,, stays green ALOT longer than cut cattails will.. throw in bunches of cattails too break up the blob look. make sure you have a window where you can see out the back,, nothing fancy just a less dense spot of camo material.
Prefab your frame before you take it out,, much easier doing this than building on-site.. use large bolts for your main connection spots. cut a bunch of 4 inch blocks(scrap 2x4's works good)and several pieces of strapping(we use door or window trim,, buddy does construction it was free)too go around the outside of the blind,, makes camoing alot easier,, just shove it under the straps. our strapping lasts 3-4 years,, once in a while we have too renail,, much easier than chickenwire or zip-ties.
