my brother and i practice every year before archery season shooting out of our tree stand at a 3d deer target. the guy on the ground moves the deer around for different yardages and different angles. we do this in the woods so it gives us areal good idea of what its like in real hunting situations. i think this is the best form of practice you can do if your a tree stand hunter. practice practice practice.
