if you are going to the north of I-90. go though sundance and head north to hullet. just out of town and take a hwy to cook lake. go 2-3 milesand you will get to the top of the ridge. there is some state land there and there are a few muleys. it is very steep there. if you keep going into national forest it gets into more whitetail area. hunt the oak ridges here. lots of water also, find a closed gate and walk in 1-2 miles and you will be all alone.
