10-4 - I do not have the length of arms you have but most factory stocks are to short for to be comfortable.

I measured the distance from the top of the same scope to the comb on my Remingtons is 3" inches. I can get on them quite comfortably. The distance on the Omega is 3 3/8" I am thinking I need at least a 1/4" lift.

Right now i am avoiding the leather and cloth typeCabelas lifts because I am a bit worried about wet freezing weather here in Idaho. I worry about water freezing and absorbsion. I went to Brownells and found a couple of other lifts that will not absorb or freeze - I think. One of them should be here this week.
