I think the basic problem is the length of pull and no cheek piece (montecarlo comb). I quite often run in to the same problem, I wear a 35" length shirt sleeve and most factory guns do not fit be it shotgun or whatever, many high end guns fit very well. After reading your post I checked my Omega out and have the same problem. When I shoot from the benchI practically crawl up the stock so I didn't notice it then. I mounted a 50mm scope with 1 piece high talley's. I will be picking up one of the cabela's cheek pads before hunting season. They are leather and look pretty decent, they lace on so you can move them top another gun if you have the same problem.
