I am using a 3x9x40 Bushnell Elite 3200 which I really do like. Weather here in Idaho really can be the pits and with the Elite scope covers are rarely needed. It is mounted on an Omega with a Warne Base and Warne Medium heigth rings. Low rings are not an option as the objective end of the scope would not fit without running into the barrel.
They make some really neat little gadgets that you can intall in the stock and the comb to allow you to adjust it to what ever heighth you want. I was thinking about doing some other stock work to it anyway. The forearm is really smooth. iworry about it somewhat during hunting season and in wet weather...so I was thinking about sending it through the shaperand cut in some sort of a rolled grip. That would not be to difficult at all. Might just have to do the comb also....
