Default RE: Savage v. Ruger

I'm hooked on Savage cause I've never had one that wont shoot! I love every thing about the Ruger rifles except their triggers. I don't think ruger makes a bad gun, there great. The Savage also has a three position safety, although it's a tang mounted safety. But to criticize the three position safety is foolish, this allows you to unload your rifle while on safe. As to the resale value issue, the price of used Savage rifles will most likely be going up since they are starting to get the good press that they rightly deserve. The thing that hurt Savage over the years was a terrible trigger and the barrel nut which many other manfactures keyed on in an attempt to draw the customer base away from Savage. Well Savage has NUKED the trigger problem and the others are trying to catch up! As for the barrel nut, I think it's beautiful, I know when I buy one the headspace will be perfect. I also know I want be dissapointed with the accuracy.
