The max case length is 1.760 but most cases are shorter, what do you trim yours to. Do you think 1.740 is to short.
Absolutely not. 1.740 is fine...I'm a bit unusual in that I'll trim mine to 1.730 so that I never have to trim the case again for the life of the case. I hate brass trimming so only do it once.

There will be no problem with brass at 1.740. Further it will not effect accuracy in the least.
