Default RE: MOUNTAIN LION PICTURE IN PA.

All kidding aside... Knowing all of the forest in PA and how many acres of land that are not even accessible by most hunters. Hypothetically - "IF" there is a mt lion or mt lions running around in the wild in PA or in NY for that matter. Is it really that hard to believe that it could roam around for quite awhile before being spotted.

Just on my hunting property in St Mary's PA we have 100 acres of our own, there is another camp which the owner of it passed away and his son's who own the property now live in CA that camp is about 500 acres and is not hunted except for by people out of my camp. On the backside of both of our properties is a easily 1000 acres of land owned by the power authority which is landlocked by our properties so no one can get to it without asking permission from us to use the access rd which is gated and locked.

That is a lot of land that has no human activity on it besides in the immediate camp area for 10 months out of the year.

How many other places are like that in PA and if you think about it I am guessing there are quite a few and some with more land than what I have available to me. I think there are a number of animals that could go undetected for a long time before anyone realized they were there.
