Who ever is in charge of marketing needs to look into selling more traditions stuff as well I miss the rifles they use to sell.
But, as with any company they have to react to public demand and the demand is not for traditional at this time. In fact if you look around to any of the ML companies they are all slowing down production of the traditional equipment. The demand is in the other direction. There are several smaller companies that are supplingthe quality traditional equipment needed. The corporate companies that have to show the a big bottom line have to sale to the demand.
I shoot both guns, modern inline and sidehammer percusion, and I enjoy them equally. And the funny part is I have know urge to go back to the center fire guns - unless I feel that I can not adequately function with the restrictions that could be put on ML hunting.
Statistics indicated that the popularity of ML hunting could be attributed to the additional hunting oportunites the you could gain if you hunted with both weapons. Today many of those people that originally bought the ML to extend their season - now hunt all year with their ML.
