That stock is slick... One of the last shots I took was a 150 yard shot at a rock on the bank. I could shoot from the bags I had have the fore arm resting in my hand like I was making a normally shot, and I thought i had a good hold on it - well on boom that thing jumped right out of my hand and 3-4" inches up in the air.. my bare hand was dry and cold so I didn't have a real good grip. When i got home I looked at midsouth - i am going to order one of those PAC skins you can put on smooth forearms and try that for awhile. I have got checkering tools and I did one along time ago- I am even considering that or maybe jst change the type of finish - but it is slick now. I am sure i could get use to it.
