That's not the case. I've had each ignition type (Wolverine 209 and Hawkeye - plunger/ Disc Extreme - bolt). The Disc rifles are easier to use. No capper required as with the plunger guns. The red plastic jacket upgrade (plunger version) doesn't need one for hunting but it's still needed at the range. Also the plungers can misfire if you get junk in the action. It's rare but it happens. The Knight plungers will skin your thumb knuckle if your not careful (painful). It may happen with bolt guns too but I've never experienced it. Course I'm using thumbhole stocks on my bolt guns. Finally the plungers are restricted to the factory tool for removing the breechplug. I don't have a ratchet that will fit them, but they work fine with my Discs.
