It sounds like despite the weather conditions you had a pretty good day at the range with your new Omega I'm sure that the more you shoot this rifle the better it'll get. My Omega is the most accurate of all my ML's and even though I love shootingmy sidelocks when it comes time to hunt I'll take the Omega or Encore any day.
The crud ring was probably slowly going away, because the hole in the breech plug was slowlyclosing up with fouling.....just my guesss. Isn't that suppose to be one of the advantages of shooting the small rifle primers with T7?
