bearklr, you have one AMAZING imagination! I've done a TON of hunting and trapping in the area of Lycoming Co. that youspeak of and I can assure you that there are NO cougars there! There ARE some pretty awesome bobcats there, though! I'm guessing that's what you saw, and if memory serves me correctly, cougars DO NOT carry their kills into trees! I think you are confusing cougars and leopards!
Gunwalkr, I'm glad to see you are an expert on "what other people see in Lycoming county"

. My family has had a camp there since the late 1800's so I'll take the word of the 12 guys who saw the carcass and the three other guys who saw the cat over yours although I'm sure your ESP does come in handy.


I'm also sure cougars aren't known for carrying kills into trees and I'm not disputing convention. I'm simply stating what I KNOW I saw. Take it or leave it I don't care but don't presume to tell others what they saw.
