Wanted to give an update. I did this for my wife. I also marinated the roast in milk over night before I started. I followed the directions exactly except only cooked it for 9 hours. It was the best Venison I have ever had. Best thing is my wife really liked it so now I have a way to cook it that my wife will eat.
