Default RE: natural gear thoughts

I have a jacket in that pattern that I was wearing when I shot adeer last season , it didn't seem to register with the deer at all even though it looked dead at me as it was walking past my ground blind(a stool behind a fallen tree top) . I wasn't very well hidden , my top half was completely exposed and I had a bright orange toboggan on my head . The reason Nat Gear is so light is that they aimed for a neutral background shade to match the greatest possible number ofbackground types , and it seems to work. Look at a black and white pic of it against a wooded background and you'll see why it works .
