The birds I killed with a bow were all done with expandable broadheads and a compound bow. I use a mouth call primarily, but have an arsenal of others if the diaphrams don't work. The single biggest help is a stand that will keep your bow upright. I think the hardest part is the draw. Practice a smooth, quick draw.Here in Alabama, I have had the best luck in the big woods, letting a Tom step behind a big oak tree to draw. Good luck! There's nothing like putting one on the ground with a bow and arrow!
