They work best from a tree to relatively level ground. If you are shooting uphill or severly downhill, they may be off due to the geometry involved. Stay within 10-20 feet up in a tree with shots to semi-level ground and you'll be fine. But don't forget, when aiming, you still have to bend from the waist. Good Luck.
