I would probally say around the recoil of a 243. I know when a gun hasagoodmuzzlebreak put on it, it will decrease the recoil by quite a margin. It can decrease it so much that a .338 win mag and the .338-.378 weatherby are comparable to 30-06 recoil. And I have heard, read , and talked to about 3 guys that the muzzlebreaks on the .50 cal bmg's make it similar to 30-06 recoil. But I dont know I have never shot the 50 cal. But I have shot the .338 win mag and .338-.378 weatherby with the muzzlebreak and they are both in my opinion similar to the 30-06. Given that your butt pad reduces recoil on a .270 by 50%...I would believe it is possibleto achieverecoil levels in the .243 vecinity and possibly even less. SO IT LOOKS LIKE YOU MIGHT BE HAVIN SOME FUN WITH THAT .270...light em up and be safe.
