I put a sims limsaver on my 270. I would say the recoil now feels like it is somewhat more thanmy 243 and a little less than my 30-30

Wow.

I have a 700 .270. One of the older ones with just the plain ole metal butt stock and it feels like a .22.

I've never seen a .270win have bad recoil in any type of rifle.
