For example, I have also worked out arrangements with companies where I write or edit in exchange for product. A win/win for sure. I see typos and/or funky writing on most websites I visit, or brochures that I read. For most people, it doesn't occur to them to have a writer help out, nor is it cost-effective to outsource it. It's a shame when a Company is trying to market an obviously great idea or product, only to have it tarnished with poor presentation. I am always willing to talk with charities that need some help too - I'll almost certainly volunteer some services for worthy causes.
