Could someone explain to me the reason you would drop your draw weight down to go turkey hunting? I have heard quite a few people mention this...

I have heard of folks saying they're going to use expandables and don't want them to open...which doesn't make any sense to me....[&:]

When hunting turkeys with the bow you want your arrows to stay in the bird. So lowering your bow poundage will help. You want big expandables so you lose penetration and that your arrow stays in the bird.
