Ok, so after some further research...I think I've decided not to go with the sawtooth oaks--I'll maybe plant a couple in some protected areas, just to see what happens. Other than that, I'm definitely going to plant some apple trees, red & white oaks, etc.

Another thing I've been wondering is when should I plant these? right after the ground thaws?
