Default Turkey hunting.... Good idea or bad?

Hey all, Ive been thinking of using my bow this turkey season. I have an older mathews i shot for years, and this past year i upgraded to the Hoyt Vtec. Both bows shoot great, and are well tuned. I was thinking of dropping the poundage back on my mathews to around 50 for turkeys, think it would mess me up too much trying to switch bows? I think if i have plenty of time to practice it wont matter to much, i just didnt want to mess w/ my hoyt too much since i spent a lot time tuning it and im not taking a 73 lb draw turkey hunting. Also... the arrows for my mathews have blue and white fletchings... think i should change them for turkeys, or could i just take a sharpe and draw some green on them?
