We're seeing a similar situation around our farm. We're seeing lots of does every day and several 6 pointers on a regular basis. The bigger 8's & 10's are out there but we only see them every few days. From the way it sounds you're in a pretty good spot. It's just a matter of right place right time. The more time you spend in the woods the better your chances.
