Goalieman32, where do you hunt? I've read on this board (I don' know if its true) that rattling is good for the south & mid-west, but deer in the north-east don't respond to it as well. Being that I am hunting in NJ, I stick to my grunt and bleat can. My rattle bag has sat at the botom of my closet for 2 years now. I've never been able to successfully rattle in a buck. Who knows?
