gander mtn here sells geox 2f or 3f. i think it is 18 dollars for a 1 pound can.some drive to factory and buy it in bulk and sell it to friends.lot cheaper that way.20 dollar hazard fee is not way to go.
I disagree. I just checked Powder Inc. 5 lbs of Goex Ffg or Fffg, delivered to Grand Blanc, MI would cost a total of $89, including the hazmat fee, or $17.80 a can. 5 lbs of KIK, which I feel is better than Goex, would be be $84.50 total, or $16.90 a can. Even with the hazmat fee it is cheaper than the $18, plus tax, that you said Gander Mountain wants per can. You don't have to burn gas to get it either, UPS delivers it to your door.If you can find someone else in your area, with whom you can combine an order, the price is less because the hazmat fee is the same and the cost per lb is also cheaper for larger orders. A 10 lb order would be $14 per can for Goex or $13.10 a can for KIK. A 25 lb order would cost $10.86 a can for Goex and $9.66 a can for KIK, again all delivered to your door.

These prices, even with the hazmat fee and delivery charges, are far cheaper than most shops that stock blackpowder. I have only onesporting goods store in my area that handles blackpowder. They only stock Goex and it is $17, plus tax, per can. Plus, I have to drive 50 miles round trip to get it.I am all for supporting local shops but not at any cost. Online retailers of blackpowder give you better selection of brands and save you money, even with the hazmat fee and delivery charges.
