ORIGINAL: Sharp Shooter
Anyone know of any good 58cal conicals that are round nose or flat nose?
One I shoot in my .58 (actually a .577") which has a 1/60" twist, is the Lyman .57730, a hollow-based Minie that I size to .575". It weighs 570 grains, and has a flat point. I use 120 grains of FFg with it, and it is both accurate and powerful.
Here's one, sitting between two .45/70 rounds.
