If you shorten them up a bit it will help with the spine. I use a grayling and love it. One tip that was given to me by gibblet, was to put a light film of bowstring wax on the clamp. This helps keep you from getting a heavy buildup of glue on the clamp. If you dont use the wax it is a pain to get old dried up glue off the clamp. Have to use a razorblade.
