We have a few for the camp/cabin, they work very well. Ours are battery operated and as mentioned they aren't for toting all day plus have limited battery life. I picked up a 12 million dual beam one this year at costco for themain purpose of skinning game after dark. This particular model has a direct DC power optionand being all our atvs have PITs works wonderful for this application. It truly turns the lights on in the middle of the black forest night. Also nice to have when you make your midnight run to the outhouse to drop supper in bear country!!!! Have also used the smaller units in the field for gutting, tracking, etc. For spot use very handy.
