So when you say overbowed, do you mean the poundage was too high? My wife would actually really like to try target shootingbut can't pull back the 65-70 pounds I usually have my bow set at. You have to have at least 40 pounds to legally bowhunt here, which she may want to do if she gets into target shooting. Is that enough poundage to kill a deer? Just because its legal doesn't mean your success rate would be high.
