I've been bowhunting for about 4 years and this is the first year that i've taken a deer. It's a rush to have deer within 20 yds and them not see or smell you. It's also very much a challenge to make slow movements to position yourself for a shot, there are times when i've had a deer look straight toward me and i've froze until it puts it's head back down, that's a rush. Anyone can shoot a deer with a rifle at 200yds with a good rest and scope, IMO it takes skill,patience and knowledge of the whitetail deer to harvest one with a bow.
