buckwild I live in Va. also, Fredericksburg to be exact, I hunt for the hunt and view every day in the field, kill or no kill as a successful hunt. I will tell you honestly though, that with the exception of fawns I will take every doe I can, the population in my area is exploding and if we do not start getting them thinned out we are going to wind up with a very sick herd. I am hoping I can fill my freezer this year and give some to charity to boot. I take pride in every deer I kill, but to me as I already said a kill does not equal a successful hunt, the hunt does.
