I was merely expressing a thought regarding those folks who feel shooting a button or flat head just to run their numbers up may be missing the true meaning of hunting. Its not for me to say, I only post this idea to have folks think outside the BOX occasionally. Posting the story isn't the point. It is the harvesting of animals just for the sake of bragging about numbers. If the hunter is truly proud of that yearling they just shot, then congrads. But when a memember post about their 4th, 5th, or 6th kill this season and you find out it was a button or a 50# doe. Well I guess they just have a different view or respect for the animal. Enough on my view, it is only of importance in my small corner of the woods. Good Luck Fanatic, and thanks for your thoughs.
P.S. Many of us hunt in areas the would allow for crazy high harvest numbers if we elected to make that our goal.

Gotcha! I missed the meaning behind that part of your thread. I agree!
I thought your entire thread was aimed at
walking on egg shells (so to speak) with what we say regarding hunting that the anti's might use against us. That type of scensorship really burns me!
