I also wanted to say, I bought a MAD calls coyote howler, and cant seem to get it right, I think the barks sound ok, but the howls seem too deep, and if I blow harder to bring the pitch up, it seems to go up and down in tone, and doesnt sound good at all to me, I dont want to bark, because I dont want to alarm them, should I try to locate one with a howl before I set up?? I also have a coyote locator tape with howl, should I just use it until I get better with the howler. I bought this howler because I looked at several types including all of Randy Andersons stuff, and this one seemed the simplest, the others you had to put your lips or teeth here and there on the reed and blow it at this angle and that, it sounded really complicated, I guess thats shy they sound so good..
