I agree with cayugad once again.

I have the Bushnells in both 4" and 6" eye relief. If the scope is mounted in a standard position, the 4" is plenty. I tried the 6" on my Encore 209x50 barrell and found that I was pulling my face too far back on the stock. For my Encore slug barrel, the 6" works great because the mounting base is farther forward. If you can, take your gun to the shop and lay both scopes in the bases and see which one is more comfortable to you. If you can't do that, I think the 4" would be fine.
