I actually have my bow maxed out at 72 lbs. Why....because I shoot heavy arrows, 529 grains to be exact, and I like throwing them down there with enough "umph" that if I screw up and don't hit the spot perfect I know there will be more than enough arrow to help me out. I don't use this an excuse to take bad shots, I just have the extra power there as a safety net.

Plus the fact that I am young and strapping means that 72 lbs feels like nothing to me
