Well? I think you have helped confirm something I felt all along. I am an old centerfire hunter shooter, I have always gone out before hunting season and shot to verify POI and then I would not do a thing with the gun until the end of hunting season, unless it got wet then that would trigger some maintenece - not a strip clean but maintenance.

For years now, since converting to T7, I have done about the same thing. I shoot it pre-season check POI - probably- maybe two-three shots. I bring it home and swab the barrel with windex and dry patches - put a very lightttttt thinnn coat of gun oil in the bore and it remains that way til I am done using it. Some loads have remained in the barrel up to 3 weeks without any ill-effects. Again, weather can and does alter this routine. But if things remain dry it remains as is. I will not field strip and clean until the end of the season.

I do not recommend this for everyone but I am really comfortable.

I guess I was just lucky or Triple Se7en is as non-corrosive as smokeless.
There are a lot of people that will tell you that t7 is smokeless with charcoal added for effect. It certainly is not nitocel' but it certainly is not BP or sulphur based. I belive itdoes contain an acid and if it or its residue gets wetit can have adverse effects on your barrel -

OK - probably said to much already so I am done...
