RE: Which backpack?
Ok, first off I don't usually shop at Walmart. But for anyone needing or wanting a very inexpensive backpack that will carry about anything you need from bowhunting deer to even elk, I bought a Fieldline model that is hydration bladder compatible for around $20. I carried my Cabelas Dry Plus jacket and pants, gloves, compass, food, flashlight, knives, a saw, extra socks, hat, batteries for GPS, wet towels and 3 20 oz. waterbottles very comfortably. It features backpack straps of course along with padded waistbelt and sternum strap. I borrowed a Cabelas Alaskan pack/frame from a buddy and kept it in camp in case I needed to pack elkmeat out on my Colorado trip last season. For the money.......the Fieldline was the best thing I found for my needs and surprisingly its pretty durable.
