RE: scent control?
I don't use it. I think if you just watch the wind you will be ok. I will say that I think the THEORY behind scentlock is solid, I'm just not convinced that it has been perfected yet to where you can get multiple uses out of it. I also believe that in my lifetime it will be perfected.
I'm talking about the whole regeneration-reactivation argument. I will say that if indeed it can be reactivated-regenerated to the point where it becomes usefull again, it should work to some extent depending on how many garments (pants, jacket, gloves, hat, facemask, boots, etc...) are worn. There are those with good credentials that say you can regenerate-reactivate it in your home dryerand there are those with just as good credentials who say you can't.
When everyone can agree.....that's when I will fork out the big bucks. Untill then I will say, I'm not sure about it.
