Theres a lot of grey area in law enforcement. A gang banging thug carrying a gun in his car would be arrested. Billy Bob hunter would be free to go.
Its always left up to an officer and his judgement as what to do.
I still cant believe NY is still saying it's poaching. Damn ! the game warden just said it ok to use a light and wanted to say go ahead and dispatch the deer but just cant out of legality reasons.
