My advice is shoot as many bows you can get your hands on and buy the one that is the most comfortable. For me it was the SQ2.

I use to shoot an HCA Ultra, which I have handed down to my son. I had every type of silencer on that bow and it was still loud. I don't use any silencer on the SQ2. Monday I shot at a buck and missed. Certainly not the bow's fault but mine since I rushed the shot. All the deer heard was the arrow strike the ground. He looked around and kept sneaking through the woods. The second buck, the larger of the two was sneaking behind him. I nailed him at 20 yards. This is, without a doubt, the quietest bow I have ever shot.
