There were lots of them made in many different brands over the years. The Savage 2400 was made by Valmet (in Finland) who "beefed" up the frame ect. and brought the "new" gun's in as "Valmet 412's". Later Tika bought the whole project and called them 512's haveing them "then" made in Italy.

Remington is selling some Russian made models now, and there's many other's sold under different names. (includeing the Blazer mentioned above)
