notaveg, not trying to be a smartass, but cracking the grip may be a Godsend. Most people I know remove the factory grip, I did on all mine. Wrap the riser with thick mole skin. Much better. But I'd still get a replacement grip to hang onto.
BTW, sorry to hear of your problems. I'm nothing but happy with my BowTechs. I'm fortunate enough to have a small, capable shop nearby.
