yea Bill I know all about that re-cockin business. The first deer I shot with the 10inch 30-30 barrel came in and I cocked it. While waiting for a broad side shot the doe turned around and left. About the same time I finished de-cocking it, the doe came back to me and stoped about 40 yards broad side perfect shot. Some how I pulled it off and opened the gun and recocked it in time for a good clean shot. It was my first deer with a pistol.
