RE: lazzeroni
Mike that is good info to have, thanks. I knew several custom makers had bought reamers from Lazz and where chambering their guns in his cals. It is good to see that someone has offered one in a "halfway" affordable rifle. With regards too the 150Lazerhead shooting .5"-1.5" take my word for it, in most guns from a bench the load will easily do .5". That is why I switched from the 130X offering too the 150Lazerheads. The original Xbullets weren't known for their accuracy, but their astounding terminal performance made them a sure thing. Now with the TSXs you have it all. My Sako spits the 150s too .5" at 100yds and 3.5" at 400yds. Add too that that the bullet strikes only 3.5" at that distance and it is as easy a "quarter miler" as I have in my arsenal.
These calibers are SERIOUS long range equipment and if you add a quality high powered scope (especially one with mil-dots) you can effectively re-define what "long range hunting" means too most!

Yesh Okcmco Savage built around 500 rifles in Lazz's shortmag 30cal (the Patriot). A good buddy of mine has one and it is a SWEET handling package. Kicks like a danged mule but sure is a sweet one to carry. I know Savage also offered the Lazz shortmag 7mm barrel for those guns (the name of that caliber escapes me) but I never saw anyone that had one put on their Savage. It is to bad those guns are no longer offered, what a DREAM they would be with the AccuTrigger setup!!!
