Still havn't fired the Remington since I polished the fireing pin and the insides of the bolt so don't know if that helped. Did get new nipples too but since time is short I have been taking the T/C Hawkins out which has been the most reliable ML since 1976 when I started.
A couple of questions about the 209 Conversion from Cabels. Says the kit comes with a depriming tool, Is the spent primer diffecult to remove? Also see they have replacement nipples, Do they go bad often if only fireing with a primer in place?
A question about the bolt spring replacement from Remington. Is it just sent like the side lock spring from T/C?
Thanks every one for all the advice.
