RE: How is the hunting in Kansas
The hunting in McPherson county is going pretty good. We haven't limited out or anything, but we always get into quite a few birds. Opening weekend we got about 30 birds between saturday and sunday, but we haven't been hunting in this area since then. The second weekend of pheasant season we went to Hill City and WOW! there is a TON of birds over there. We had alot of luck. We started with about 20 guys saturday morning, but then hunted with eight the rest of the weekend and we bagged about 60 pheasant and 8 quail. That was a lot of fun. Then my fmaily back in Cimarron (Gray County) say the hunting out there is amazing as well. I had some friends go hit two walk in hunting spots in the morning and limited out. There's a lot of birds around. We were pretty dry opening weekend around McPherson county, but after the snow we aren't anymore.
